Hello, I'm experimenting with the mk802 devices and have used this code on a presentation....

iframe width="575" height="350" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/pUQUEJaJ..." frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe

It seems to work great first time in dolphin with flash enabled. But when the presentation finishes and transitions to new presentation, i can still hear the audio.

Also, when it goes back to the presentation with the youtube link.....it doesnt play anymore. just a black screen.

thoughts?

Unfortunately we haven't done any real testing on the MK802, so I don't really know what the issue could be.

Do any of our users that are familiar with the MK802 and YouTube have an answer?

Thanks!

At this time yes, at least with Rise Vision. We are currently focusing on other projects, including our upcoming may release. We will let everyone know if this changes anytime in the future.

Being an open source platform we encourage everyone to use our API to build their own functionality, so there may be others out there that are working on an Android Player that you might consider working with.

You may also want to check out our Partners page to see if there is anyone that is currently offering a solution that may suit your needs.

Thanks!

I'm experiencing the same issue with a presentation that is playing on a chromebox. I have imbedded an html item with a youtube playlist as follows:

<iframe width="1515" height="852" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/Ben5CInjwKg?list=PLU8ezI8GYqs7tAIAv9qFoYM7F02L251Ai&autoplay=1...; frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe

This is scheduled to play for 1/2 hour (1800 seconds) and then the schedule switches to another presentation. One without any audio, except the audio from the youtube playlist keeps playing. What am I doing wrong?

You will need to create a widget like the youtube widget in the store in order to do it. The reason is the viewer(presentation) doesn't have control of the video. It doesn't know when the video has began or ended, so it just continues to loop even in the background. In a widget you control the start and the end using rise APIs that communicate to the viewer. These APIs play and stop the video when needed, so its best to use a widget in this situation.

Thank you William!

Unfortunately Josh, you will need to switch over to a Youtube widget.
