Why can't I get my presentation to show the schedule details?

I published my spreadsheet to my Google drive. I made the file public. It's a Google Sheets document. For my presentation, I go to add the new schedule in the Google Schedule widget. Then I tell the widget to show the properties. In the properties, I tell the widget to show a range of cells. When I click SAVE, SAVE, SAVE - the range of cells will not show. I've also formatted the times in the cells to the Google formats.

Hi there David,

Just to confirm, you have Google Spreadsheet that is public, and published to the web, in a Presentation, and it is showing with the Spreadsheet Widget. In the Widget Settings, you set the cell range you want to see, and it is not showing anything in preview or on a Display. Do I have that right?

Any chance you can email support@risevision.com with a link to the Presentation, and reference this conversation so we can investigate?

Thanks!

Yes that's right. I checked our display settings and the players we use need to be updated with your software. The SS file we are using is public published. The times in the SS are formatted correctly. The presentation shows on the monitor but the widget is not syncing up with the Google sheets (public) file. We cannot see any of the events.

Hello David,

I examined your spreadsheet settings and found it is using B13:E14 as the range. At this time, there is no data in that range to display. Could you select a different range of data and let us know if you still see the same issue? Also, I would advise contacting us directly by e-mailing support@risevision.com if you continue to face any hurdles with this widget. :)

Cheers,
Mike Thomas
