Who to contact for Custom Needs?

Hello,

I inquired last year about wanting to know if anyone had created a hashtag aggregator. We have been running a 3rd party solution for our needs but I've got Marketing back on my wanting a solution within our Rise Vision stream.

Who can handle this type of need and is this a widget or a gadget? I'm not really sure who to bug for custom coding/pricing.

thanks.
Shawn

Hey Shawn,

Could you give me an example of what you're currently using, and tell me what about it isn't working for you any longer? I'd like to get this information so I can point you into the right direction.

We currently use a product called tagboard.com which requires a dedicated browser and thus ties up the display. So in many locations we have to have one display showing tagboard while the other has rise vision content. It would be best if we could simply have the hashtag integration in the rise vision. I've tired using their URLs and HMTL to no available.

So ideally if we had to only pick one social media site for our need we'd love to display Instagram in regard to our businesses hashtag. Thus overtime the "slide" for the hashtag would come up in the player we'd see the latest content (say a dozen or more images) from that instragram hashtag feed.

Not even sure Instagram (or others) allow users to reads from their feeds as the solution tagboard.com may very well handle all the logins on their severs for display in their interface.

Hope this helps clarify.

Shawn,

Thanks, that helps a lot! Have you tried embedding your tagboard into your presentation utilizing the HTML widget? A quick google search shows that embedding is supported by tagboard. You may want to check this page out, https://about.tagboard.com/embeds

I've tried as HTML and a URL and both fail. As embedded HTML the center photo area (which may be java) never displays. I'll assume this concern is on the viewer side as I've not had issues with placing Tagboard in other HTML projects. Additionally, it's our goal to get away from the monthly fees which are very heft for Tagboards needs. They have some great functionality but I feel their pricing is toward Fortune 500 needs!

rsf,

I don't think they create Rise Vision Widgets, but they could give you the code to show what you need using the WebPage Widget, or the HTML Widget.

Thanks!

We're using a hashtag aggregator with Rise currently, here's a preview.

We're only using a simple web page widget, inputting the hashtgr page, and cropping to make it look good, with an image up top.

Can walk you through a setup if you'd like.

We can integrate social media accounts or hashtags into your Rise playlist from multiple social platforms.

We also have an online portal that allows you to filter out posts with profanity, only show the most popular posts, or pre-approve posts before they are displayed. You can also display posts made in a specified location. Approved posts appear in near real-time.
