I have 15 players up and working fine. I am using the Intel sticks as my two new ones no luck, white screen. Any Idea here? Looks like everything loads up I just get the blank white screen and no images.

Hard to tell w/o more details. My wild guess is weak WiFi and heavy content or images can be blocked by some local network settings.

What if I have a Firewall / Proxy?

Please note that if you have a Firewall or Proxy, you may need to configure it to allow our service on port 80 (http) and 443 (https) for the following addresses:

  • rvashow2.appspot.com
  • rvashow.appspot.com
  • rvaserver2.appspot.com
  • storage-dot-rvaserver2.appspot.com
  • store.risevision.com
  • commondatastorage.googleapis.com
  • googleapis.com
  • accounts.google.com
  • talkgadget.google.com
  • s3.amazonaws.com
  • p.jwpcdn.com/6/5/jwpsrv.js (Only necessary if your Presentation includes videos)
  • rackcdn.com
  • display-messaging.risevision.com

And if you are using Rise Priority Support and taking advantage of our remote diagnostic and correction service we will also need port 8041 open for the address connect.risevision.com.

The firewall would be my first troubleshooting step as well, and another would be to make sure that you have not assigned specific Displays in the Placeholder Distribution of the Presentation. For example, if your Placeholder is set to only go to your 15 Displays, and not these 2 new ones, that Placeholder won't show on the Display, even if they are assigned to the Schedule. Set all Placeholders to All Displays, and that would solve that issue.

Let us know how you make out!
