I have a presentation that I have done all I can think of to get it to show on my display. I have tried making the file size smaller. I have tried restarting the display. It shows up in preview and if I just go to the link of the image, it works. I just can't get it to show up on my display. I have been trying all I can thing of for the past 4 days.

CareerCenter, is it only happening with that ONE particular image?  If I remember correctly this is stored at a third party location, correct (Amazon)?  Does it happen if you upload a different image to the same storage location and try to display it?

Just the one image. Correct, it is stored through Amazon, as is everything else that is on our display.

CareerCenter,

So it appears that there is something wrong with the image itself.  Just to be sure, can you re-upload the image with a different name, ie "test.[extension]", and link to it?  I assume it is Public and you can view the link directly from the display, correct?  I would suggest using Photo Shop or some type of image editor that will give you more details on the image file specs and compare it to ones that do display.

I have re-uploaded it yet again. It is, in fact, public, so viewing it shouldn't be a problem. All the settings within the storage site are the same as all the others. I have had this opened, adjusted, manipulated, saved, in Photoshop. I can not see where there is anything different with this files versus any of the others that are working other than file size - but it isn't that much larger than other files that are working.

CareerCenter,

Have you tried saving it as a different image type?  Can you recreate the image?  If you want, you can send me the link and I'll let you know if it displays for me or not.

The only other file type it will allow me to save as if a tiff - and that does not work. I was trying to avoid recreating but may have to do that. Here is the link to the presentation: http://rva.risevision.com/#/PRESENTATION_MANAGE/id=0920925c-f07c-4f15-b0c0-240b2fb0449d?cid=144ae7c5...

CareerCenter,

What is preventing you from saving it as any other file type, such as png?  Photo Shop?  That may be a clue right there that there is something strange about the file.

Yes, Photoshop will not let me save it as another file type. I had my student design assistant create the file, I guess I will have to have her do some tweaking or send me her working file. I only received a jpeg from her. I guess I will try again next week. Thanks.

CareerCenter, also, can you look at the colour mode for your jpg?  That might be preventing you from saving in another format.

It is currently set at CMYK/16 bit - I am just going to have my student assistant redo the image and see what we can get accomplished.

Okay, good luck with it.
