We have recently purchased some Intel NUC's from you with RiseVision Pre-Installed which have been working perfectly until we come back from our 2 week Easter break.

We are now starting to notice white screen issues where images are being pulled through and a lot of presentations now seem to be freezing and we have a couple of displays that just spin round trying to connect (Could this be a network problem?)

Any help would be much appreicated

Thanks

Tom

Tom, could be network. If that was RV connected, then more of us would be getting something like that.

Porter, can you confirm the name of the Display having the problems?

Hello Alan,

The display name of the one we are having problems with is called "Lower D".

With this display we are having the issue where it just spins round trying to load on a grey screen and on others such as "G Block" we are getting issues where none of the content loads and we just get a white screen.

Thanks

Thanks for that info Tom!

I have a sneaking suspicion what may be causing this, and have set up my Display in your Company and I am now watching the General Schedule. I'll let you know if I can recreate the same issue you're seeing, and then I can determine the best way to correct. Thanks!

Hello Robb,

We have managed to find out the issue and it was from our end. There was a problem with our DHCP server giving out the wrong IP Addresses meaning it wasn't getting through our security so we are all back up and working now

Thanks for your help

Ah wonderful! I'm happy to hear that, as I have not been able to recreate this in the way I thought.
My original thought was this was due to the deprecated Image Items in your Presentation and the network dropping, but I have been running this on my Display with no internet, and so far all is looking good!

I would strongly suggest upgrading the the Image Items to the Image Widget in this Presentation, and others. Just go to that Presentation, in the PLaceholder select Add, then Content, then search for the Image Widget. Select the Image you want to show from Storage, and voila, you are now using the Image Widget!

Delete the Image Item out of the Presentation, and this will use the Image Widget moving forward, which is much more reliable :)

I hope that helps!
