I remember a page that contained tips for configuring Rise Player on Windows. I can't seem to find it any longer.

Scott,

I think you may be referring to the page where we indicated to turn off the screensaver, set the hard disk and Display to never go off, and disable Windows Security Alerts.

Those settings should be enough to set your machine to run as a great Media Player, however all those settings are set as per the Installer you can download at https://help.risevision.com/user/create-a-display.

Let me know how you make out!

I was interested in this as well for the Linux player. So, I'm to understand the script itself will now handle all of the settings? Thanks!

Hi Wendi,
Yes within the Linux installer there are scripts that cover what was previously within the configuration settings page.

It sure is! Also previously the configuration page was under 'Advanced' in the help documentation
