I used to pull content from SD cards on Android devices and would like to test the same option on Chromebox, but cannot find any information on what would be the path to SD card on Chromebox?

Darius,

You may want to contact your hardware manufacturer for that information. Unfortunately we don't do too much development work with Chrome OS outside of Rise Player.

I do not believe this is possible anymore since 4.4 and up. The reason is security. It's requires a web server now to server any content to the browser now. I had this issue with my app because I was caching videos. I wanted to use the location of file on device but Instead I had to write my own webserver in the app to serve back those files for them to play. I believe it's the same with chrome box as well now.
