Thanks. I'm testing this out with two virtual systems on my desktop. I have the box checked and I take one of the monitors offline...after 20 minute still notification and i have my gmail account marked ACTIVE under USERS.

What am I missing?

As you can see from the screenshot both of my test virtual monitors are showing up in DISPLAYS as ACTIVE and with the green heart although TEST 2 has been offline for 20 minutes. Does it take longer? I'm getting instant updates when I change content in the PRESENTATION.

On the Settings page, there is a line roughly halfway down specifying where to send the monitoring emails.  Please ensure that the appropriate addresses are entered here.  Notification emails will be sent up to 30 minutes after the Display has gone down.  You can find additional information here.

Thanks.

Not sure what you mean by allow alters.

The Alerts page that you are referencing is meant for sending a special alert message to the Display using a 3rd party Common Alert Protocol .  You do not have to enable this in order to receive notification emails pertaining to the online/offline status of the Display.

Going back to email notification, if the Monitoring checkbox isn't filled on the Display's setting page, you won't receive a notification if that Display isn't connected (or when it reconnects) to our servers. Similarly, if the Email Monitoring field on the Settings page doesn't have the proper addresses entered, you won't receive notification for any Displays with monitoring enabled. The email(s) can be any email address you wish. If you want more than one address entered, just separate them using a comma.

Thanks for the feedback on the help pages.  It is appreciated.

Thanks.
