Weird issue with my presentation.

My presentation hangs on video.  Let me give a little details.  I have a presentation with 3 videos in loop.  So far it was working perfectly but since this morning it hangs on Video No. 2.  I removed that video and working fine but as soon as I add it, hangs again on same video after few loops.  I change video no. 2 with completely different video as I thought video no. 2 somehow get corrupted in cache but newly added hangs too. I change the sequence of videos. Now weird thing is its hangs on second video in sequence whichever video is on no. 2.  I tried to solve this by  restarting player, reboot computer and completely power off/on but still doing the same.  I tried to explain my best and looking for advise.  I use asus chromebox as a player.

Amin,

Are you hosting these videos in Rise Storage or are these hosted somewhere else or on Vimeo? What format are the videos?

Amin,

I'm going to keep an eye on this and let you know what I see. Please let me know should it begin hanging up again.

Are you running your media player on a wired or wireless network?

Amin,

Is it possible to test it with a wired connection? I have had this presentation running without any issues on my uptime display for the past day or so, the only difference in the setup is that mine is wired.

I won't be easy to wired the box. Well, it's working fine now. I don't know what happened yesterday. That video will be r3moved by end of this month anyway since that promotional ads is expiring. I'll let you know if I'll get this issue again. I really appreciate your help.

I have quick question. How important to set scheduled reboot? If I set any schedule reboot time I get problem here and there but if I don't I didn't see any major problem.

Amin,

It really depends on the kind of content you are running. It is good to reboot the media player every now and then to clear your player cache.
