I'm trying to use the webpage widget to link to this page:  http://www.gofundme.com/obneuw
It works flawlessly during preview but I get a "403 Forbidden" page when published.

Brannon,

This appears to be an issue with the URL that you're trying to display. It's possible that they are blocking that from being displayed from certain domains. Which is why you can preview it from your computer just fine.

Is there any kind of work around?

Brannon,

Unfortunately, no.  A policy change on their end is really the only thing that would change this kind of domain restriction.

Thanks,

Matthew

Try using the gofundme widget to preview it in your presentation.   Use the HTML widget not he webpage widget. here is the snipet they provide.

<object classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" width="258" height="338" title="Click Here to donate!" type="application/x-shockwave-flash"><param name="movie" value="//funds.gofundme.com/Widgetflex.swf" /><param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="flashvars" value="page=obneuw&template=0" /><param name="wmode" value="transparent" /><embed allowScriptAccess="always" src="//funds.gofundme.com/Widgetflex.swf" quality="high" flashVars="page=obneuw&template=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="258" height="338"></embed></object>

Jordan,

One workaround that I believe would solve this is to use that HTML snippet on a hosted website, then use the Web Page Widget to serve that website to your presentation.

The issue is with the code that gofundme gives you. It's looking for a local file. I had to mess with it myself to get it to work on several platforms before I found a workaround.

Check out the tutorial in this link:
