i used the webpage widget to add weather from a web-page to my display. in preview on my laptop everything runs fine but when i send it to an actual TV the web page gets funky and things do not line up like they were. it should just show like it would on the web but things move. http://weather.weatherbug.com/forecasts/daily/agawam-ma-01001 is the url i am using. I was just wonderinf if there was a better way to handle this to get the page to show like it should and does in the browser.  Thanks

Hi Richard,

Could you please forward a picture of what your display is showing in order to better assist you?
This may have to do with your resolution settings, but we shall see.

Thanks!

Hi Richard,

Thank you for providing me with this!

I think the web page is trying to scale on your display unsuccessfully. In the editor, under presentation settings, try setting the resolution that matches with the resolution of the display that is giving you issues. I think you need to set it to a more widescreen ratio. If you are using an iframe code, try setting the width to a wider pixel length.

Otherwise, maybe that web page is just bugging out on you randomly, and if that is the case I would try refreshing the player so your web page can refresh.

Let me know if this helps!

it is only happening on two of the displays and the page is set to display in the correct ratio. the text is what causes the icons to shift and on the correct viewing display it just moves the words to display correctly.

Richard,
What's your setup for the presentation / what is the presentation ID and company ID (cid)?
I had a go duplicating what you may have done.  I am using the Web Page Widget and adjusting the zoom.  You may need to tweak the zoom either within the widget or in the HTML code if the setting is going to be fine-grained/outside the drop down options in the widget.

The following suggestions are to:
1. Ensure that the resolution where you are working in matches the Display's resolution.
2. If you are using the Web Page Widget, try adjusting the zoom in the widget settings.
3. If it looks like the right zoom setting is not going to be found in the user interface you may need to go into the code to adjust.  To adjust in the HTML:

- Look for the HTML link (http://weather.weatherbug.com/forecasts/daily/agawam-ma-01001)
- Where it says "zoom\":\"2\ change the number setting.  2 means 200% zoom.  2.25 means 225% zoom.

The last bit may be a bit of a trial and error judgment until the presentation looks right.

Let us know if you have further questions.
