Hello, I've created a presentation using web page widget and I set the Unload Web Page option.
Then I've created another presentation in which I embedded the web page widget presentation.
Doing the preview I see that after 10 second the web page presentation is reloaded. if I unset the Unload Web Page option this does not happen.

Thanks

Hi there,

I'm having a bit of trouble understanding the issue here, so bear with me.

We don't recommend using embedded Presentations for issues such as this one, they are really difficult to diagnose. Is there any way you can skip using the embedded Presentation and just use the Web Page Widget in the main Presentation?

Hi Robb,

the issue is quite simple. I have a presentation with one placeholder, in this placeholder I add as content another presentation that contain the web page widget. If I set the unload web page option I see that the web page reload after 10 sec. I can't skip embedded presentation, at the moment I unset the unload option.

Thanks

Hi there,

As listed here, we really don't recommend using Embedded Presentations due to difficulty in troubleshooting them.

Is there any chance you can take the embedded Presentation out of the equation and let me know if the issue continues?

Thanks!

Hi Robb,

if the web page widget is not embedded there's no issue. I have to use embedded presentation because is the only way to change the layout inside the placeholder. I think that the possibility to use embedded presentations is a pillar of this platform and should be supported.

Thanks!

ENP,

Totally understood. My suggestion would be to add the specific use case and usage you need from Embedded Presentations in that conversation about Embedded Presentations. The more details we can get about how people use embedded Presentations, the better.

Thanks!

Also, when you say you want to change the layout inside the Placeholder, can you clarify that a bit further? I'm not sure what you mean. Thanks!

Hi Robb,

I'll add it to the conversation. In this specific case I have a footer in the placeholder that change together with the content (web page widget). I could create a placeholder for the footer but the problem is to sync the change of the footer together with the content.

Thanks

Ah, I think I understand, so the footer and the webpage are 2 separate entities, and in an embedded Presentations, you can embed them as one, do I have that right?

Yes, correct!

Thanks for that confirmation! That would indeed have to be done as an embedded Presentation, unless you could get that Footer attached to the Web Page itself. Thanks for adding that!
