Video widget determined not to be removed

I made a video widget a while back. It was used as a background video but the client decided against it.

I originally just disabled it by setting it to 0 displays in case they changed their mind. It kept turning itself back on and I kept having to disable it again.

A week or two ago I just outright deleted it. Last night I was working on the sign and noticed it had come back after saving some unrelated changes. I deleted it again.

This morning I got a message from the IT guy at the company saying the video was back. I just deleted it again but I'm expecting to see it pop back up next time I do any work on the presentation.

Hi Chris,

Could you provide me with a link to preview the presentation in question?

Are you using the Classic Editor, or the new Editor?

Chris, I think I found the presentation in question, named "Internal". I've removed the video widget from the background placeholder, but left the two images.

Please let me know if the video reappears, also, if you could give me any insight as to when it re-appears that would be great. Does it only reappear after publishing a presentation, etc? What shows up in the Last Modified section of your presentations when the video reappears? What is the time/date/username that made the change?
About one minute before I started this thread I deleted the widget, saved, then published. So if it was there again when you looked at it (Internal is the correct presentation) it has reappeared within the last 30 minutes.

I'll keep an eye out for last modified time. I don't know how to check the last modified user.

Chris,

I'm curious if this has something to do with caching on your machine. I removed the video some time ago and I don't see it back. I wonder if your browser is loading a cached version of the presentation, and loading the video placeholder.

Could you try clearing out your cache, and let me know if you happen to see this come up in the next few days?
