Anybody else experience video format errors depending on the player you are using.

All my Windows players all upgraded this weekend seem to support MP4 format but not Webm.

All my Chromeboxes seem to support Webm but not MP4.

I've got it working on both by specifically identifying which presentations are allowed on specific displays but I thought Webm was the working video format in both players?

Andrew,

Webm is indeed what we recommend, and has worked quite well for us.

I'm looking at your Company now, any chance you could give me the name of one of your Presentations with a WebM video that are gibing you issues on Windows machines?

The following webm link is one that won't run on the windows player.  I haven't had an opportunity to try running it off a local server yet but will shortly.

I think the issue there may be that the link asks you to download the video instead of playing it from that URL:

You'll notice that when you go to a link from a video in Rise Storage, that link is a direct link to the video itself, instead of it initiating a download request.

Any chance you could try putting this video at a location where it is direct link to the webm file where it starts playing in your browser?

Thanks!
