On December 5th, 2015, Video Item was discontinued due to it being redundant to the Video Widget. To prevent further usage we will be removing Video Item from the Classic Editor (https://rva.risevision.com) on Monday, September 26th.

You can continue managing existing instances of the Video Item from Classic Editor, but we strongly recommend transitioning to the Video Widget as soon as possible. Video Item is no longer maintained and it’s legacy code base is increasingly prone to breaking due to incompatibilities with our core products (e.g., Rise Player, Rise Editor) that are continuously evolving with new technologies.

Using the new Editor (https://editor.risevision.com) you can quickly create a Playlist of one or more videos following the steps below.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Thank You

Create a Playlist of Videos using Rise Editor

1. Select the Placeholder you want to add one or more videos to

2. Select Video from the Sidebar

3. Select the Checkbox for each video you want to add to the Playlist then click Select. Note: select By URL in the lower left to show a video on a 3rd party server.

4. The selected videos will then be added to the Placeholder. You can modify the order they are shown in your Presentation by drag and dropping each accordingly.

John,

If you own the videos, you can skip YouTube and use our Video Widget, OR you can also use Youtube's own embed code to embed the YouTube Video using the free HTML Widget.

Hi Community, my first post.
I have about a dozen existing presentations that run on different screens, with up to 16 short video items each, made with the Classic editor. Can I add a new video to the presentations with the new Video Widget using the new editor, and keep the current content running,
or do I have to rebuild them completely with the new editor & widget?

- answered in another thread, thanks!
