Video Issues with widget

we have just updated one of our displays to
RisePlayerPackagedApp 15.11.20.7944 with Chrome 47.0.2526.73
we have also created a new presentation with some videos in them.

the issue we are experiencing are when we preview the presentation we get and error displaying in place of the video widget
"The selected video does not exist or has been moved to Trash."
and when we look at the dev window we see

XMLHttpRequest cannot load 'video file name' No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://s3.amazonaws.com' is therefore not allowed access.

Now when we schedual the presentation on a display all we get in the video widget placeholder is a black square with a spinning white circle.

Any ideas?

I'm having the same issue with Chrome Version 47.0.2526.73 when previewing presentations on my laptop so I imagine running it on a player would have similarly poor results. You may want to roll back to a previous version of Chrome on the player.

well after a while the schedule on the display started working. the preview is still broken but not to fussed about that..

the spinning white circle must just be a new thing to show its downloading rather than the text..

I just downloaded Chromium 338390 (45.0.2454.0) since that's what our Chromeboxes run and tried the preview link. Same result. The issue seems to be with the Preview mechanism. I wish I could offer more information but I'm not terribly knowledgable about how the preview server differs from the player servers.

yeah just realised one of our displays doesn't run the riseplayer app and we just use the preview in kiosk mode and that display has now started showing "The selected video does not exist or has been moved to Trash."

Hi FIAS,
I am also looking into the same issue that Rob has also reported.  Do you also have a presentation link that could be shared containing the video widget? Thanks

Hi FIAS,
I posted a reply to Rob a few minutes ago here and I am wondering if a filename could be related?

Edit: Just an update that the Content team is also currently looking into this issue.
