Hi All, 
I am having some difficulties with the Video Widget. Had a handful of presentations that have been running perfectly, coded in .MP4. I recently went to reduce the length of one of these video presentations, re-uploaded in .MP4 format and the video will not play(displays black screen, audio comes through) when previewing on my workstation. I can upload the original file that was working just a few minutes before and it no longer functions. I am able to resolve when switching to .webm format but I would like to know if anyone knows why this is inconsistent?

Is it possible that it was encoded differently as MP4? The first thing that comes to mind is that the video encoder was not correct, and formatted it in a way that the Display couldn't read. That would be why WebM worked, while the rencoded MP4 did not.

You could use something like MediaInfo to determine any differences in the codecs used in those MP4 files.

Let us know if you see a difference in them!
Hi Robb, I couldn't even get the original file (un-modified) to play when I uploaded it back into rise storage? This file was playing fine just before I swapped it out for a new one so not quite sure what is going on?
