Hello everyone, this might be a question for the developers. i ordered a new  ARM 64bit board
( https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pine64/pine-a64-first-15-64-bit-single-board-super-comput ) and i wanted to do GPIO interaction with a presentation. Any ideas on how i could begin ??
thank you very much.

I would say if there is a javascript library that can connect to the GPIO then it shouldnt be hard. I would look into that first. I know the pi has this ability but i dont know about the pine 64. Also if there is one, then start simple with a test using the html widget. If you get something to work then start looking into making a widget. Hope this helps. Thanks

This isn't exactly the answer you're looking for but I'll chime in anyway. We have two custom kiosks we use in a lobby space that have a touch screen. However, we needed our control system for the A/V to be able to tell them to go into a "please take your seat" mode. The answer was to use these: http://www.vetra.com/312utxt.html

They take contact closure and output keyboard commands. At that point, making whatever application/page/presentation respond itsvery easy. The devices are programmable too so you can enter key combos as well. Super slick!
