Unwanted padding in google slides embed

I use the Web page widget for embedding a google slide show.
It works perfectly - but for some reason I get a black padding on the left side of the slideshow. If I reduce the width of the iframe, then the right side gets cut off but the black padding remains on the left.

I use this html for embedding: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/47804376/Infosk%C3%A6rme/Ny%20template/dias.html
The placeholder is 566x749
The iframe is 576x769

Anybody got af clue??

If you are embedding images in google slides or backgrounds you'll want to make sure they are the same ratio as whats setup in your page setup of slides. Not sure if thats your issue but that will give you black borders or the images if so.

In alternative way you can try adding google sides to a presentation is to go to publish to the web and grab the embed snipped (iframe) http://www.screencast.com/t/ohIAv4U4fwV. Then insert it using the html widget inside the body tag.

Lars,
It looks like the black padding is from Google Slides and that it persists regardless of how you size it within the iframe/Placeholder. You may need to look a workaround for this or to try other alternatives. Since there are three slides for this presentation, you may want to save the slides as images and adding these within the presentation via the Image Widget.

If anyone else has other suggestions, feel free to share here.

Thanks for your quick responses mlm and Hannah.
I would like to stick to slides because it is easy to collaborate on the content.
Hope others have solved the issue and want to share the solution.

I will have a look at the image ratio vs page size as you suggest mlm.

Thanks,
Lars

Hi Lars,
Another note - when you change the custom resolution on Google Slides, have you tried setting the slides to the same size as the Placeholder to see if the black bars are still there? Thanks
