Unable to Preview

I decided to take a nuclear option and start all the presentations from scratch, so as to avoid the eventual embedded presentation deprecation.  Also, I thought it would be nice to be able to use the new editor in all of my presentations.

My problem is that I cannot get my new presentation to preview at all.  I started with the web page widget, pointed at a slideshow I did on of my my sites.  Previewing the presentation only brought up a gray screen with a nearly constant white revolving circle of circles.  I tested the theory that it was the URL that was the issue and entered cnn.com to preview - that yielded the same result.  I thought maybe the issue was with the web page widget and switched over the the video folder widget - which I know has content.  Same result in all three cases, gray screen with a spinning circle of smaller circles.

Everything about this presentation is saved and published.  Surely, I must be making some fundamental error -- but I can't seem to crack what it is.  Any thoughts?

Are you guys off this week?  I  even checked an old presentation that is used as a blank screen for after hours here and that won't preview.  It just hangs on the gray screen as do the others.   It'd be nice to know if this is just a problem I am having or there is a larger issue at play here.

Hey Nick,

If you haven't already tried it clearing your cache might do the trick. I just tested loading CNN.com with the webpage widget and it previewed fine and I have been using the new editor all day without any hiccups.

Thanks,
Shea

This seems to do the trick.  I keep a little extension in Chrome to clean my cache, but that didn't do the job.  Going into my settings to clear the cache did.

Awesome, I find that always helps. If you need anything else let us know.

Nick,
Apologies for the late reply!
When I preview the presentation with Dev Console open I am seeing this error:
getCurrentPosition() and watchPosition() are deprecated on insecure origins, and support will be removed in the future. You should consider switching your application to a secure origin, such as HTTPS. See https://goo.gl/rStTGz for more details.
Edit: Can you check in the browser if geolocation is being blocked or not in your browser?  I've tested it after allowing preview.risevision.com and I can see that weather widget now.

Edit: I seem to have posted far too quickly.  Can you check in the browser if geolocation is being blocked or not in your browser?  I've tested it after allowing preview.risevision.com and I can see that weather widget now.  Thanks!

I wasn't using a weather widget in the presentation.

Hi Nick,

We aren't off this week.  Sorry about the delayed response.  I saw that a couple of folks here are talking about your situation now, so we should have an update for you pretty soon.   In the mean time, on web pages, sometimes don't show in presentations because they don't allow themselves to be shown in iframes.  Can you try a web page like www.risevision.com to see if you have the same issue?

The results are just the same.  Gray screen, spinning ball of frustration.

HI Nick, could you share a link to your Presentation preview? I want to make sure we are all looking at the correct one when we are troubleshooting.

Thanks!

Nick,

Could you try hitting CMD + ALT + J, and then hold down the refresh button in your browser and click "Hard Refresh" ?
Afterwards, you could try logging in and out.

Also, like Robb mentioned, a link to your presentation would be helpful. I would like to perhaps take a look at your HTML and a closer look at your content.
