So i've been working for about a month on trying to get the hummingboard to run rise vision. I'm at the point where i have chrome installed on it but when i start the rise vision chrome player it's a white screen. I'm thinking about upgrading to ubuntu 14. I just...I need this all to work.

Hi Michael,

Can you verify the version of Chrome that is installed?  Was Chrome installed via Google, or was it obtained elsewhere?

Thanks.

Thanks for the information.

The current version of Chrome on Linux is 38.0.2125.111.  Is there an update available?

I don't recall running the Chrome Player on an ARM CPU previously.  There may be differences in Chrome that are preventing it from working.

Thanks.

I remember reading a way to put the presentation URL in the address bar and run it that way. How would I go about doing that?

Ok, I used the corrected URL and it still has the trying to connect to the server error

Can you provide a screenshot of the error you're seeing?

Are you able to access the page from a different computer?

Thanks.

Is there a proxy that needs to be configured for this Linux player?  The message you're seeing is typical if the Display isn't able to connect to the servers.

Is the mac on the same network as this Ubuntu machine?

Yes, the mac is on the same network. I'll check the proxy settings on chrome.

side question:
where did you get an ubuntu image for the humming board ( not the CuBox-i ) because the only "ubuntu-oneiric-freescale.img.xz" i found does not work?
