Just reporting the problem. This morning the Time/Date Widget is not showing on Windows and Chrome players. It previews fine, though.

Hi Darius,

We've gotten this report from 2 other users as well. I'm taking a look into this now.

I just quickly added another instance of the widget an it showed up on a player just fine, but the 2 other instances (previously created) of the same widget still did not show up. I might just go ahead and make new placeholders to take care of this.

Darius,

I haven't been able to recreate this issue. Are you still seeing it on your player? Could you please give me a preview link of the presentation that's having the error?

It works fine in the preview, it does not show on my players.

Blake,

here is the preview link http://preview.risevision.com/?type=schedule&id=350db965-b579-41a9-9607-0291e22010c9&showui=...

In the the preview you can see two placeholders (green & blue) with the time and date widgetin them. Green has Arial font, blue has Roboto. But when I push it to my player, the blue Roboto placeholder is not showing up.

OK, it has something to do with a font. I was using Roboto 72px, but it came back on again when I replaced it with Arial font. But the same Roboto font works fine with the RSS Widget.

Yep, I'm seeing the same thing with Google Fonts.

Darius,

Looks like this has to do with a change to the Time & Date Widget that was made yesterday to correct an issue with Custom Fonts. We're rolling it back now. For the moment if you use anything in the fonts list above Verdana, it should appear.

Darius,

We've rolled it back. You should be in good shape with Google Fonts now.

Unfortunately,  Chromebox still cannot show the widget with Roboto; although, Windows device can. And in this case Chromebox is the most important here. I am just gonna change to something else temporarily and see if this gets resolved later, perhaps with the next update.

Darius,

It probably has to due with the Browser Cache on ChromeOS. Unfortunately, there's no way that I know of to clear that.

Blake,

That is what I though too, but a couple of restarts did not fix that, so I guess I am gonna have to wait and see it that will change later somehow.

Update: just checked after posting this and the Chromebox is back to normal.
