Tried the same video in different format (MP4 & WEBM) without success.

Hi Israel,
I have the MP4 running in a presentation (using the Video Widget) both on Ubuntu and also on ChomeOS (same app version) and am able to play the MP4 and for a longer time stated without error messages. This is sounding like an issue with your network - can you check if you have any filters or if you are under a proxy? Please see the list of resources under Install Rise Player. A test to do is to use another MP4 video sample and to see if you have the same effect.

Robb, I'll double check the space available.
HSuarez, I'll try the same presentation in another box and see what happens maybe the issue as Robb told me is something local. Also I'll try the test outside our LAN.

The video I was trying to display was exported from a powerpoint presentation. Exported again the same presentation with less time between slides and the file was smaller (from 90mb to 50mb) and worked this time. Thanks for your help.
