Text widget not scrolling when added as a presentation

  • I created a presentation (1) which consists of only one placeholder with a text widget. This text widget has scroll enabled.
  • In my main presentation (2) I select presentation 1 in a placeholder, so that the content of presentation 1 is embedded there.
The problem is that when the text widget is shown in presentation 2, it does not scroll. But i does scroll when I test it on its own.

Is there another way of doing what I intend or some other workaround?

Thanks:)

Hi Lars,
Can you please send through the presentation preview in question and we can take a look at the content. Thanks,
Hannah

Thanks - to confirm the presentation that is not scrolling is Indlejret tekst - smal? I can see that there is the main presentation template using the Text Scroller gadget but I can see it scrolling on preview.

Yes it is "Indlejret tekst - smal" i mean.
The text scroller gadget is not part of the problem.
I took a photo of the screen. The text is shown like this all the time

Hi Lars,
Is there a way that you can move the Text Widget (with the scrolling content) away from being embedded as a Presentation within a Presentation and back into the main Presentation? We have had some discussions around the future of embedding presentations (see here)

Edit: I've also noticed that the Display you have mentioned is currently Windows on the Rise Chrome App Player. Since we have put further development on hold for this Player, I would recommend switching over to the Rise Windows Player. After uninstalling the Rise Chrome App Player (go to chrome://apps in your Chrome browser), on the Display you can download the installer here.

Let us know how you go with the above!

Thanks
Hannah
