Subcompany & Storage

There's a subcompany to our main company with their own signs and all. Recently, they've been locked out of their storage saying that they need to subscribe. Why is it that the main company is paying for a storage, but the subcompany has to subscribe as well?

This is because Rise Storage is a "Per Company" subscription. This means that each individual Company will need to have its own valid subscription.

As the Parent Company, you can purchase a Storage subscription for a Sub Company, but it will be bound to that Sub Company, and can only be used by that Sub Company.

You can do this by going to, logging in as a user in the Parent Company, then clicking on your avatar in the top right, choose the option "Select Sub Company", select the appropriate Sub Company, and proceed to purchase a Storage subscription.

This way, the payment of the subscription will be handled by the Parent Company, but the Sub Company is who uses Storage.

The other option is to have a user in the Sub Company go to and purchase a Storage subscription for the Company independently. This way they manage the payment of the subscription themselves.

I hope that helps!
