Hi!
A Sub-Company our organization has managed will now be managing there own content and request to work independent of us.  How can I remove them as a Sub-Company so they are now their own Company?
Thanks for your time.

The only way for a user to move from being under one Company to being under another one, is for another Company to move them under them as a Sub Company. If you ask that user to click the Need Help button at the top of https://apps.risevision.com, and explain to us that they want to be moved from being under your Company, we can move them to be under Rise Vision.

Thanks!

Hi Rob,
Thank you for the feedback.  A few follow up questions.
  1. Instructions above would follow this process: Help > Support > Drop a note ?
  2. Once they request though Rise Vision to be removed as a Sub-Company of our Company and approved, they will no longer show up in our Sub-Company Drop Down, right?
  3.  Lastly,  I had stumbled upon this article https://community.risevision.com/rise_vision_inc/topics/change-sub-company-owner-and-remove-myself  which at first I thought would do what I needed, but after further reflection didn't seems as absolute as we were looking for.  Am I correct in thinking that?
Thanks for your time!

Hi there.

You're correct on all 3 counts :). That article was for a user who wanted to be removed from the Company, not remove a Sub Company.

I'll look forward to getting that support notification!

Hi Rob,
Final question on the issue:
Does it matter who initiates the contact with Rise Vision for removal  - A user/member of the Original Company who wants the Sub-Company removed?  Or a user/member of the Sub-Company who want's to be removed?  Or is this irrelevant?
Again thank you for your time.
