Stock search not working

The search tool in the financial gadget will only return results if the search contains a single character. Search doesn't appear to even try to run if it contains multiple characters.

Search containing multiple characters stays at default screen with no attempt to search - http://i.imgur.com/LRITbH4.png

Searchg containing one character works as expected: - http://i.imgur.com/uytkli6.png

I used Chrome, IE and Edge in Windows 10 and IE. Also tried IE in Windows 7.

Matthew,

Can I ask you to try again? We just tested this and it was working fine for us. Here is a screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/aQdsUUmf

Thanks!

This is still not working for me.  Here is a video of what I'm seeing.

Matthew,

Thank you for the video and I understand what you are seeing now.  A quick followup question for you:  are you pressing enter to submit the search after changing the query?  If I change the search parameters and do nothing else, I experience the same thing.  When I press enter, however, the expected results appear every time (after a delay of 10 seconds in some cases).
If you are pressing enter and nothing ever appears, can you try the same thing in an incognito session?  I'm curious as to whether there is some kind of caching problem.

Regards,

Matthew

Yes, I am pressing enter for each query, and I am leaving enough space to account for loading before moving onto the next query.

I have the same issue after switching to incognito in Chrome.

Matthew,

Unfortunately we can't recreate this issue so far. Is there any chance there is a plugin or security program installed on your machine that could be causing this?

Hi Robb and Matthew,

It appears as though I've run into a very strange corporate firewall issue. When it didn't work at my desk I tried from my laptop at home and it worked. I then brought the laptop into the office and it didn't work again. While in the office I disconnected from the network and used a mobile hotspot where it worked again. I'll take it up with my network team.  Thanks.
