I'm using the player on Ubuntu and it is set to scroll through a spreadsheet that has a employee schedule on it. The player is set up to switch to a different presentation at midnight for each day of the week. every morning when I come in the spreadsheet widget has changed to the day that is should be on but the widget stops scrolling. The only way I can get the widget to start scrolling again is restart the presentation.

Matthew,

Are you using a schedule to reference individual presentations, or are you scheduling individual placeholders in one presentation?

We are using the schedule to reference individual presentations. We have one presentation for each day of the week and the schedule is set to change the presentation that is being pushed to the display at midnight.

Matthew,

Would you be able to test running one presentation in the schedule, and scheduling your spreadsheets to update in the placeholder every night at midnight?

I gave that a try but it didn't seem to work. when I came in this morning the spreadsheet had completely disappeared.

Matthew,

I haven't been able to recreate this yet. Are you using the native player or the chrome app player?

Matthew,

Because of the severity of this issue, I've added my personal uptime display into your company and schedule. I have this displayed locally, and I'm looking for the error that you mention. I'll keep you up to date.

I think your display may have accidentally been removed. I apologize if it did.

Matthew,

I was able to reproduce this issue. I'm currently looking deeper into it to decide if and where a bug needs to be logged. Thanks for your patience.

I just wanted to check and see if you have made any progress into the issue.

Now I'm having an issue where the display will keep scrolling through the night but it will not change from Monday.

Matthew,

I've copied your presentation and see the issue here locally, however I've also built a new presentation to test on with similar scheduling of the spreadsheet widget and it is running as anticipated. This is going to take some more research on my end.

Matthew,

I believe I've tracked down your problem. On your spreadsheet, on the Monday sheet, cell A1, there is a "g" filling the cells. None of the other days of the week have this notation there. I have been able to fix the problem locally by copying your spreadsheet to my google drive, and either adding a "g" to the A1 cell of all Tues-Sun sheets, or just removing the content from all A1 cells Mon-Sun.
