sports scores not showing all current games

Digichief Sports Scores Widget is not showing all current games.  I have MLB, NBA, and NCAA Tourny scores showing up but only 4 games for each is being displayed.  I have each in it's own presentation because I wanted a different background for each one.  When the games that are listed start I am getting the updates and they are working, but again only for 4 games.  I also tried changing the time to show to longer and only those 4 games cycle through and repeat.

Hi Marty,

I've notified the DigiChief developers involved with the Sports Scores Widget about this thread. Thanks,

Hannah

Hi Marty,

I heard back from DigiChief and things look to be in order. But checking your presentation, I can see that some of the font colors (ie like the NCAA Mens presentation) are white which may be giving the impression that not all sports scores are showing if they are showing on a similar background. Here's a preview after changing the font color.

However I've noticed that some of the presentations are being embedded into others. Are you currently embedding the sports scores presentations inside other presentations? And if so, do you have the name for these?

I do have those as embedded presentations. I wanted to change the background when each different league came up. I can try to do one just basic and see if it makes a difference. I named them MLB scores for the presentation.

Hi Marty,
I was looking at the MLB scores presentation yesterday and noted the font colors in there. Do you have the name of the presentation or Schedule that is embedding the MLB Scores presentation? I had a look through the rest of the presentations in the Avery Dennison - PFF account but was not able to find it. If you can send through the name/preview link of the correct one and also the sub company account name, that would be great.

Thanks
Hannah

I changed it from an embedded presentation to right in the presentation and now it is working.  Who do I request to have the option of adding a background image to the widget?

Hi Marty,
Thanks for the update.

I’ll forward your comment about including a way to add a background image option for the DigiChief Sports Scores Widget. You can also get in touch with them using support@digichief.com

You can also do this manually within Rise Vision.
In the Presentation you can add in a background image. In the new Editor, select the gear icon besides the Presentation name, select 'Use Image' under Background and add in the Background URL.

If there are other Placeholders in that Presentation, you can add a new Placeholder with an Image Widget and place that underneath the Sports Score Widget. For the new Editor:

1. Create a new Placeholder and add the Sports Score Widget

2. In the ‘Add Placeholder’ area select the Copy button to copy that Placeholder

3. Select that duplicate Placeholder. Delete the Sports Score Widget. Add the Image Widget with your own image.

4. In the Edit Placeholder Properties area make sure that the Z Order for the image is a number below the Z Order for the Sports Score Widget.

Thanks

Hi Marty,

Let me investigate on what it will take to add a background image option on the widget.

Sorry you were having trouble.

Best,

thanks for the reply.  I wanted to have a different background displayed depending on the sport scores that were being displayed.  By using Hanna's suggestion above, I was able to make something work to show a graphic while scores are displayed, but I also have a RSS feed in that placeholder that cycles through Sports news as well.

Thanks,
Marty
