How did you get on the slide Groovy Image to let the background image go left and right?

Thanks, everyone.  All of the animations, including the moving image, is done in Google Web Designer (free) and hosted in Google Drive (free) and displayed using the web page widget (yes, also free).  They are relatively easy to make once you grasp the interface in GWD.  This option has really opened up doors, allowing for attractive and engaging transitions between presentations. I'm happy to share as templates if people want.

Thanks for sharing. I've been using revolution slider on wordpress site for some basic animation templates. It's also fairly easy to use. GWD looks like a better option.

Some examples using revulsion slider

Those look awesome!  Thanks for introducing me to Google Web Designer :)  I would love to know how you do the calendar events.  Does it pull the events from Google Calendar?  If so, I'd love to see how you're doing that. Would you be okay sharing your code? :)

Just want to thank you for turning me on to Google web designer.. It's amazing what this program can do!!  Takes a bit to get used to, but I've been able to pull off some pretty amazing stuff with it :D

Hi Ben,
Would be interested to know if you have preview links using GWD to share also!
Thanks

How did you get the social feeds? I'm playing around with using Hashtgr and the web page widget to have the page fit and produce a similar result across all social streams, but these look very clean and always interested in alternatives.

Okay.. let me preface this by saying I lack any sort of artistic ability and this slide is far from completion, just wanted to show off a little what Google Web Designer can do for you.  Keep in mind, I'm artistically blind :)

Oh, if you want this code, I can zip it up and give it to you, minus the logos.

Hi Ben,
Looks great! What are you using for the daily event feed? Also I'd be interested in the code if you don't mind sharing.

Thanks.

Hey Mike,

Here's the dropbox link: https://www.dropbox.com/s/sk4z7vqlcdxu274/Act1.7z?dl=0

Also for the events, I'm using the Google Calendar widget with a blank html widget showing for 5 seconds to give the background time to load.

We've started having all our facilities enter their calendar events into a google calendar created for them.  That way it'll pull straight from the google calendar and the only thing we have to do is change the picture and/or music every now and then :)

I'll be playing with the formatting of the google calendar widget to try and make it look prettier. ;)
