schedule google slide changes

We currently display our school meal menu through an embedded google slide.  This changes daily and the cook currently has to make sure he updates this daily by a specific time (before the menu is displayed).  Does anyone have a method he could use to pre-prepare these updates and schedule them, maybe do the whole week on a monday for example.  I could imagine doing this via calendar but that would restrict images and things which we are keen to include.
Grateful for any help,
Toby

One way to do it is to make 5 Google slides ( mon-fri) and then in the rise placeholder use 5 different content widgets each pointed to a specific slide and is scheduled to show on just that day of the week.

You could also use a google spreadsheet, but your cook would have to use the full url for images hosted somewhere. It is a little more complicated, but you could simplify it for the cook by doing some legwork in advance and creating a Google form for them to complete. The advantage of doing this is you could schedule a specific meals to be served on specific days (not just a day of the week)

What Biologyben has suggested above. You can also create one presentation for each day (embedding the day's Google Slide in that Presentation) and then allocate/schedule this within the Schedules app.

What brilliant solutions (and so obvious when you think about it that I'm embarrassed to have asked the question). Really grateful for those responses. Thank you.

No need for embarrassment as the question has value to the rest of us who hadn't even thought to ask - like me :)
