We have some presentations that use a web page widget to display google slides.
Today they have stopped working on our displays and also when I try to preview the presentation or the schedule with the presentation in it the screen is just white.
This only seems to have started happening today.

I have copied the URL in the web page widget and it is accessible also the time widget is not displaying.

yes come back to it this morning and it is still not displaying the presentation correctly.
It shows the background image but still not showing our webpage widget or the time widget.

This is what we see in the editor
PH0 is a webpage widget to show the slides presentation
PH2 i another webpage widget to show a ticker down the bottom
PH3 is a clock widget to show the time

This is what we see when we click the preview button and on the Displays

i have tried saving a publishing the presentation again and that made no difference

Do you have this presentation on some actual display or is this just preview that does not work for you? Try clearing the browser cache and see if that helps.

Yes, the presentation is on 4 displays and not working on any of them.

I also tried the preview from home last night and it all worked as expected. It must be something in our environment here at work.
Does anyone know if anything has changed with the widgets recently or if there are any changes at all with the player? It seems like something is not getting through our firewall maybe!!

I would wait for RV guys to answer the part about the any system updates. Anyway, even if there were any, that did not affect users. If that was the case, we would have seen many angry posts here. I can also say that our players were not affected.

Most likely there were some local network changes that you need to look at:

Please note that if you have a Firewall or Proxy, you may need to configure it to allow our service on port 80 (http) and 443 (https) for the following addresses:

Fias,

I noticed one thing when I was previewing your Presentation, and that is that 2 elements of the page are showing that they cannot be found (sorry for the small image):

Is it possible that those are the two elements that are not showing up in your Presentation?

we have been through our firewall and double checked that all of those URLs were still on our allow list.
the 2 things you are showing Robb with the 404 error are 2 things we are hosting internally.

the issue was certainly the widgets not displaying at all.
we had a discussion with our firewall vendor and they have seen it once before where https traffic that was not being inspected had an issue when using their transparent proxy.
Set the displays to use the direct proxy and all is now good.

Thanks for all the suggestions.
