I would like to add a presentation in another and therefore need a scale to fit function. Don't seem possible is there simple workaround? Would also like the ability to add a display in a presentation (that would reflect schedueling).

Hey Orjan,

There's not a lot of options regarding this. We currently use Embedded Presentations for some applications, but they aren't supported and from what we've read they will be deprecated eventually (hopefully after they've come up with solutions for our use cases - there's another thread for that somewhere on the forum).

One think that popped to mind here, you *might* could use the Web Page Widget, and inside of it add the Preview Link URL with the showui=false tag. The Web Page Widget has options for scaling from 50-200%. I just threw one together and that appeared to do the trick.

Otherwise you may need to code something else up, but maybe that will point you in the right direction. :) One other note, the Preview Link URLs do not following scheduling (as it looks like you're aware). I suppose one might be able to use the Display Link URL instead.. but you'd want to be very careful to setup displays specifically for this application and not delete/modify/use otherwise. You get get into some pretty nit-picky areas really quickly doing things like this. *lol*

Good luck!

Note: Just to clarify, these are the URL's I'm talking about. This would take care of your "presentation in presentation" and "display in presentation" request if I understand correctly. Again, USE CAUTION when using the "type=display", as it will only ever work in ONE place. I don't even know how it would react if you used it twice in the same presentation. It could be super finicky. I would not really advise this approach, but it could work. :)

Preview Link URL:
preview.risevision.com/Viewer.html?type=presentation&id=xxxxxxxxxxxxxx&showui=false

Display Link URL: (can't stress enough that you can only use it in one place at a time, use with caution)
preview.risevision.com/Viewer.html?type=display&id=xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Just managed to scale them again (to 25% total) in another presentation and added the last screens. Now all fits fine in my second monitor at work. In case this not work in future we have an idea with iFrame-programming.

How did you scale it down in iFrame?

With wrapper, we're looking for other ways but this works even if it's little tricky. Maybe Xara or some editor could handle this easy.
