I need help, I am trying to run my ads on my galaxy Tab 3 , 7" screen , I have tried cenique Appv / my rise player, but it seems like the resolution is wrong and I don't have an option within to change it.

It's a 1,024 x 600pixel display, with pixel density of 169ppi, but by default the app chooses : 1024*648 , away off center & frame .

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated .

Thank you guys

I've asked the makers of the app to see if they can suggest a possible reason for the mismatch in resolutions shown.

I'm sure they'll want to know what version of Android are you using.

Thanks.

If the device doesnt have a navigation bar and uses buttons instead, i can see why its getting 648. The extra 48 is the size of the navigation bar if it was there. Sometimes manufacture do different things to hide the navigation in there systems so i bet its still reporting its there when its not. Hints why it got 648. If i were you i just ignore the 648 and make the presentation 1024x600. I will make a note to add that onto the list of screen sizes to ignore adding the navigation height to in the next update.

Here is my issue, I have the same artwork / ads running on many different displays,
I have used My rise player for My Samsung galaxy S4, and somehow it worked just fine without the need of changing anything , I just dont know how to make my content within the Tab 3 fits perfectly like my phone , I figured a tablet is away better than a cell phone for a small sales presentation.

is there any way how to fix the content/resolution to fit without missing with the artwork itself ?

Thx guys

If I'm correct the s4 is 1920x1080 in screen size and your going down to 1024X600. Presentations don't scale to the size of the screen. They are fixed sizes to what you set in the presentation. There is a way of doing something like your asking but not very easy to do. The rise guys might know of good ways to do this but it might be worth the time to make a presentation in 1024x600 and add everything in. I might be wrong but i have had to do this a few times. between 1080p and 720p.

I agree with you , I have done it before , I guess at this point its is much better to just make few sample adds 1024*600 for my tablets instead of wasting lots of time on changing resolutions. Thank you guys for your help.

By the way how does the new menu screen look on that device. There is so many different screen types that i just wanted to be sure the menus fit on the screen.

the menu screen is pretty similar to an S4 interface, but there is so many tweaks you can do than that will change the menus animations, ...it has more potential than the phone I think, especially new ones that support 1920x1080.

Yea android mini pc's were the main reason for the app but i notices tablets needed more work. For now i think it works well and yes there is some improvement to be made but i think for the most part its getting better.
