I purchased two Samsung Digital Signage TVs (RM Series) (http://www.samsung.com/us/business/displays/digital-signage/LH40RMDPLGA/ZA).

It runs software called "MagicInfo Express"  which pushes content via wifi to the screen. I'm wondering if it's possible to override MagicInfo Express (which is essentially a crappier PowerPoint) and use RiseVision?

I know it's a long shot, but I figured I'd ask ...

Jessi,

No, not that I'm aware of. If you want to use Rise Vision with these units, you will likely need to purchase a media player that can run Rise Player.

Actually you can take off magic info and run just a URL on the screens. You will need to know how to get into the firmware setting to do all the changes. Each Samsung tv is different so it's best to find this info from them or on Google.

The problem with the URL is that you wont have a full blown player. No video or image caching from widgets. No restart or reboots as well. It will run fine as a URL but if you need caching then forget it..

Jessi,

We have set up a Samsung RM40D but are using it as a regular screen, HDMI - Intel NUC - Rise Vision.

The great thing with this screen is that you are able to set auto power and shutdown for each day, and it's designed for 16/7 operation, 3-year warranty
