I have two different chomeboxes running the same display id.  I would like to change the display id on just one.  Is there a way to do this without messing up the other chromebox?  They are both logged in with the same google apps id.

In order to change the Display ID on a Chromebox, you can find the steps outlined here. If you update the ID on one, but not the second, the second won't be affected.

Thanks.

Hi Neal.  Could you send me the link for the instructions?  It says the page does not exist.

Hi Jason,

To change the Display or Claim ID on your Display, do the following:
  1. Create a Presentation with one Placeholder
  2. In that Placeholder, add the Web Page Gadget, that points to this URL: http://localhost:9449/config.
  3. Play that Presentation on your Display, enter the new Claim ID or Display ID in the appropriate textbox and press Apply. The settings will take effect immediately.
Let me know if that works.

Thanks,
Shea
