RPi losing network connection after scheduled reboot

I have several RPi's in the field that have worked fine for months.  A couple days ago, I found out that most of them were offline, with the last known connection at 3am (scheduled reboot time).  I tried hard resets, changing network settings, etc., but finally had to replace the cards.  The next morning at 3am, they all went offline again.  These are different presentations at different locations.  My android based players are working fine.

Is there a solution for the Pi players or is it time to ditch them for something different?

Hi Gary,
This seems to be a problem with the Raspberry Pi themselves.  It would be good to see if anyone else has gone through a similar issue with their Raspberry Pi or from anyone that has made the transition from Raspberry Pi to other media players.  For example, see some of the recent comments in https://community.risevision.com/rise_vision_inc/topics/opinons-on-what-is-the-best-hardware-to-run-...
