hi all,

at our company we have 7 intel nuc's in use for risevision, all have Ubuntu on it.
some have the new version of risevision, some have the old one.
we have some problems with some players that crashes, and not always restarts.

we now check if the player is running (with the api) and we check if we can ping to the device. but its always only the player that seems to be offline.

what seems to be the problem?

we found this as log data in our syslog.

HI there,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble. Are these on Displays running the new Rise Vision Player, or the older version?

Did this messages and crashes just start recently? These logs are from June 23rd, but I was curious of there have been previous instances.

Thanks!

Also, any chance you could email us at support@risevision.com and reference this forum conversation so we can investigate this further?

Thanks!
