  • Not a Problem
I just purchased a rise vision ubuntu player. The presentation pulls up but not in full hd. Only half of my screen is playing content. Any ideas on how to solve will be great.

Thanks,

Hi there Fredrick,

So with this - are you seeing all of your presentation, but it's just not filling up the whole screen?

Assuming that is the case, it sounds like a resolution issue.  You need to make sure that the resolution of your presentation and the resolution of the display it's playing on are the same.

Hello Ray,

Thank you for a response. I have created each presentation myself, they are all 1920x1080p. If i play the same presentation on another device: chrome box, intel stick, everything comes out just fine.

Could this be a setting inside of Ubuntu ?

Hi fedrick,

This certainly sounds display resolution issue. Just check monitor settings in ubuntu.

That would be my vote as well, just go into the Monitor settings in Ubuntu, and set it to the resolution that your Presentation is built at.

Let us know how you make out!

Perfect !
Adjusting the resolution inside of the Ubuntu settings worked. Odd that it does not auto adjust.

Thank you for the help guys !!
