Rise Vision Community Move - Nov. 1

Hello Rise Vision Community,

We have some exciting news that will greatly improve the community experience for all of our users.

Right now, it’s hard for anyone to search our Community and get the answers they need quickly. Additionally, documentation and videos that are available within our Help Center are not available in our existing community platform.

To correct this, on November 1,  we are going to migrate the community from the current provider to a Zendesk community. There, we can take advantage of better search functions across both community posts and all of our published documentation and videos. The end result being an improved forum for all to get technical help, share ideas, collaborate, learn best practices, and get assistance with using our applications in ways that we don’t support, such as extending the platform or using third party services.

The current community will remain available as a read-only resource for you as we build up the new community.

The new community is part of our Zendesk support system and by logging into the community with your Rise Vision username/password your previous ticket history is at our fingertips to help us better serve you. So please be sure to login to the new community (once it's available) with your Rise Vision username/password so we can serve you better.

Many thanks for everything you have done in the past with our community and we look forward to seeing you in our new digs shortly.

Thanks Shannon. Isn't the system currently in place using ZenDesk as well? I remember about 2 years back this community made a switch to a different solution and caused some older forum links to break. Just curious is all.

Thanks for the question, this community is not integrated with Zendesk.  Perhaps you were thinking about when we moved our documentation to Zendesk?

Believe the current solution is Get Satisfaction. I'm interested to see how the migration to ZenDesk goes. I've had my eye on it for a bit :) Curious if you'll keep the "Champion" structure on ZenDesk? Will we continue to be a type of mini-admin? No biggie, just curiosity here too :)

You are correct the current solution is Get Satisfaction.

We will absolutely be looking for our champions to continue to play a big role in the community.  You all are such a valuable asset to the community!  Unfortunately Zendesk does not have the "Champion" role like Get Satisfaction does, the roles in ZD are pretty limited (end user, agent, manager).  This shouldn't impact your (and all the champions) ability to continue to provide valuable and insightful answers to the community.
