Rise not swapping properly between items in placeholder

I just setup a new schedule to swap between a web page and a Google Spreadsheet. The preview properly swaps between the two at the chosen timeframes, but when it is running on the display it will start on the spreadsheet, then go to the site but take minutes to swap between them when I have it set for 40 seconds. It takes so long to swap between the two, it makes me think its not going to swap at all. No idea as to what is causing this.

Info on the machine running the display. It is a Lenovo IdeaCentre Stick - Intel atom Z3735F, 2GB of RAM, Windows 10. I have stripped out the metro apps from windows to ease the load the system may see. I have not seen the load on the CPU go above 70% nor have I seen it thermal throttle. Memory used stays at a consistent 1GB used

I wonder if slow WiFi may affect the time it takes for your player to download the content.

Alternatively, you can create a presentation with 1 placeholder that has 2 items in it alternating every 40s. I think (I do not know for sure), when you have them alternating in a schedule, the player must re-download the content each time it loads the scheduled item. In presentation it may play items from the cache.

When setting presentation be mindful about refresh times for sheets and webpage items. also, choose not to unload webpage when not visible. I hope that helps.

Dee,

I had a similar thought to Darius, I wonder if WiFi is affecting that page that is being opened. Any chance you can try with a different content item, say the Image Widget instead of the Web Page Widget going to that URL and see if that works?

Thanks!
