This player seems to reset itself daily.  I get a screen - nice looking actually - with all the different apps etc, but the player itself does not autoload like it used to in startup (using Win7).  What happened to the old player.  This app is not attaching itself to CHrome and I have to attach to theis screen and get rid of all the extra junk before the screen will run, and that doesn't always work.  I just tried to download the app player again, and it is not working.

Dick,

Have you configured the app to auto-start when Windows starts? Please see "Configuring Autostart" here https://help.risevision.com/user/player/chrome-app/chrome-player-windows?cid=f114ad26-949d-44b4-87e9....

Blake -

Thanks for the info.  I have followed the directions up to the point where it says "copy and paste the Desktop shortcut into "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\StartMenu\Programs\Startup".  I can't find that particular link. There is no ProgramData folder on my c: drive.

I am running Win7.

Dick,

You may need to unhide system files and folders to view that folder, or paste that location straight into explorer.
