I'm running RV on Rasp Pi 2's.
Sometimes when I come in and turn on the monitors, I just have a desktop and no show. Normally I ssh into the machine and do a reboot and it comes up fine.

Is there a command to relaunch RV from the shell instead of a complete reboot? better yet could I set up a cron job to look for a running RV process and if it is not there restart the RV?

FYI I am running Riseberry on these units. I noticed there is a new Rise Player for PI available. I might try that and see if it fixes the issue. They work well enough that I forgot that it was not an official product.

No worries Travis, please let us know if you continue to have issues with the supported Pi Player!
