Hey, I have a presentation built but went to put the final touches to it and got "Error:Remote Procedure Call Failure" Is this a temporary issue or have I lost the presentation? It appears when I am trying to select the presentation...

Try refreshing your browser, and accessing your Presentation again. If that doesn't work correctly, clear your browser cache and try logging into the system again.

Let us know if you continue to have issues.

Thanks.

Hi Robb,

I have tried that and tried different computers incase it was a network issue.

I can log in as normal now, and when I click presentations nothing is coming up as listed but with no error message. As if I have not created anything.

Thanks

It sounds like you have been using multiple user accounts to log in with. Do you use other Google accounts? It may be worthwhile trying a different one (I would suggest clearing the browser cache before trying different ones).

If you still have difficulty, can you email support@risevision.com with the google account you are trying to access with?

Thanks,

Hi all,

I am having the same issue but only when I try to switch companies on a client's machine?

I am unable to navigate to their company and even download RVA player

Any ideas?

Have you tried clearing the cache in the browser yet?

Jason,

Are you able to navigate to any other company? When you get the RPC error, can you do any other action (such as navigating to a presentation, schedule, etc)?

I can go to company settings and network only

As soon as I select switch to change companies I get the error. Same on presentation, schedule

Can you email support@risevision.com with the username you are using and the company you are trying to navigate to?

Hello, I have the same error, I cleaned my cache and reboot my browser (Chrome) but If I click on Presentations or Gadgets or Displays or Schedules I get the message Error: Remote Procedure Call Failure.
I'm a new user and I can not create my first presentation.

Hello everybody, I tested with Chrome over a windows machine and it works. But with Chrome over Debian 6 I don't have the same result. I will check the flash plugin or the browser version.

Thank you for your help

Thanks for the update. Please keep in mind that we haven't tested with Debian at this time.

Thanks,

Hi again,

I am getting Error: Remote Procedure Call Failure when I try to look at a companies displays.

This isn't happening on all company's but many.

I have cleared Chromes cache and still not working. This is also happening to other support staff at Rise.

Are you trying to log in with a different account to look at these other Displays, or are you switching to that Company while logged in as the same user?

Do you have multiple sign on set up in your Google Account? This will happen if you have multiple sign on set up, and you are logging in in different tabs in the same browser instance with different ID's that are included in the multiple sign on accounts.

Multiple sign on is off

I log into my account and go to different companies and get the error

Interesting. I am not getting this same error when switching Companies from Rise Vision, and App Engine is not reporting any issues.

I'll keep trying throughout the day to see if I can recreate the issue.

Is anyone else having this issue when trying to switch Companies?

I can switch to other companies without any errors. If I see anything different, I'll let you know.

You may want to try testing with a different browser like Opera or Firefox to see if you get the same issue. if you do, the issue may be internet or machine related, but if you don't, it may be Chrome related.

If you get the same issue with other browsers, you may want to do a speed test on your network or check with your ISP to see if there are any issues currently going on.

Aha...I was able to recreate this issue from my Rise Vision account, but only with certain sub Companies. I can see the Displays page for sub Companies of Rise Vision and Rise Display, but I get the error when looking at Rise Vision or Rise Display's Display page.

I have logged a bug for this that you can track here.

Thanks for your help in finding this.

This has now been corrected. Can you confirm you are not getting the issue anymore?

Hi Jake,

When you are getting the error, what are you trying to do?  Can you confirm that you're using the latest version of Chrome?  Have you tried clearing your browser's cache to see if that corrects the issue?

Thanks.
