Recover deleted presentations?

I was cleaning some out old presentations that were no longer used when I discovered two presentations that were missing that SHOULD be there.

HLC Slideshow Presentation
NRG Slideshow Presentation

I don't think I accidentally deleted them, as both are in active schedules, and should have complained that the presentations were in schedules if I had.

Is there a way to recover these missing presentations?

Thanks,
Robert

Hi rcruse,
If you go to the NRG and HLC Schedules, you will see those two presentations, however it looks like they have been renamed but the original names are kept as the Playlist Item Name. For example the NRC Slideshow Presentation is now called GooglePhotoTest and the HLC Slideshow Presentation is now called FlickrTest. Can you confirm that these are the right ones?

Thanks
Hannah

The GooglePhotoTest and FlickrTest are not the actual missing presentations. I just made copies of those two and renamed them just that so I can use the slideshow widget part of those presentations to run some slideshow tests for Flickr and Google photos.

But the original NRG and HLC slideshow presentations should still have those names and shouldn't be missing. Something odd has  happened. Because those two (NRG and HLC slideshows) have been part  of active running schedules for months. And you shouldn't be able to delete presentations that are part of a schedule. (For example, just now I tried to purposely delete "TrafficPresentation", but because it's in several schedules, it tells me I can't delete it: "Error: Presentation cannot be deleted since it is used in one or more Schedule Items.") So I really don't think I deleted the NRG and HLC slideshow presentations myself.

I've actually had something like this happen before, where a weather presentation had a few letters removed from the name in each of the schedules, but was the original name in the presentation list. I just went back and corrected the title of the presentation in the schedules. It was odd though.

Hi rcruse
Thanks, I figured that might have been a possible case (ie renaming a presentation and not being aware of the rename). It sounds like it may have been done by another user on the account. To answer the thread question - we don't have a way to recover deleted presentations. If you are looking for a possible backup option, you can copy the HTML code (via the HTML tab in the presentation editor) of the final presentations and paste it into a text or HTML editor and save the code into your own PC.
