I'm just looking to implement a Chromebox based display with a twitter feed, text ticker, weather widget and video player pulling in 4-5 videos from youtube.
From the chromebox's currently available is there a preferred option? Is there a particular model which folk are finding easy to install and operate which is happy to play my content?

Cheers

Cozioco,

I would recommend checking out these two Chromeboxes:
Both are great players, however if you start adding more video and moving text, the i3 may be your better option, as it is a more powerful processor than the Celeron. I've used Celeron Chromeboxes before and they are great, but if you know you are going to be adding a lot of video and moving content, I would play it safe and go to the i3 route.

I hope that helps!

Thanks Robb.
Is the management license actually needed for one display I can access easily? I can only see this being needed for multiple remote displays, is this correct?

Coziosco,

If it is only the one Display, you could certainly benefit from the Chrome Management license, but you're right, it is not necessary to run the device.

In that case, you may want to contact sales@risevision.com to see if this is available without the Chrome Management license.

Thanks!
