I'm looking at different solutions for creating a video wall, and recently found the PiWall and and was wondering if it is possible to display a Rise presentation on a video wall using this network of Raspberry Pi's?

mparsons,

Raspberry Pi is actually a community supported effort, we don't develop for Pi or Pi 2. We would love to know if you try this in conjunction with Rise Player!

Here are some resources as far as Raspberry Pi in our community

Blake,
Thanks for the leads, I've posted there as well, as well as gotten a Riseberry to function, looking to take things a bit further though with the video wall.

PiWall functions with  a host machine processing the video information, then outputting it to a network of Pi's, with each one receiving a component of the larger video and displaying it on it's own screen.

I've gotten the PiWall to function, but when placing the link from the Rise ini into the avconv line, it spits back an operation not permitted error. I'm still reading through using Libav though.

I've gotten this to "work" but the stream doesn't seem to be able to handle the data, and I'm getting a lot of distortion in the pifeed.

Currently using:

avconv -re -video_size 1366x768 -f x11grab -r 4 -i :0.0 -f avi -an udp://239.0.1.23:1234

But resolution seems off as well, though the Pi is outputting to a 1280x720 display, and host machine is 1366x768.

If anyone has tips on how to clean up resolutions, I think this might be close?
