Questions on Cloud storage for multi-company model

Hello everyone.
Some questions related to the way we should setup RiseVision for our worldwide company using a hierarchical model of companies allowing local people to manage their stuff but allowing also Corporate Communication to push/share some contents (ie. my-location.my-country.my-main-company; like brussels.be.company).
  1. I've seen that using templates, it is possible to share content across child companies.
But, using Cloud storage, is there a way for a company to access at least in read only the media assets of another Company wherever this Company is located in the hierarchy?
I guess knowing the URL of a specific file this is possible (since content is readable to anyone knowing the link) but is there a way to browse the content  using a UI?
My goal is not to find a workaround to avoid paying the fee but more to allow any upper level to be able to share some contents with child companies.

  2. If (1) is not possible, what would be the best approach to share common digital assets (company logos, president's messages, ....)  across companies keeping RiseVison a the CMS (Content management System).
I know we may use an external CMS for that as well.

  3. I saw there were limitations in the past about the maximum file size that could be uploaded (400MB at that time but fixed later on).
What is the current one ?

  4. What is the RiseVision role that is required to create a storage for a company ?
Apparently, with the simplest 'Content Editor' role, I was able to create a storage.
In our model, I would like that only the global administrator may create it
Sorry for all those questions.

Thanks.
Thierry

Sorry still need to practice. I did not notice there was a specific category for 'Storage'.
Still need to learn. Hope someone will be able to reply anyway.

Hi Thierry,

Thanks for the questions. I'm going to try to answer them to the best of my ability. Please feel free to ask me more in depth or specific questions should you have them.

  1. At this time, there is no way to share storage data to sub companies.
  2. It would be difficult to say, I would suggest you have a local folder (or google drive folder) containing common digital assets that is easily accessible, then just upload the entire contents of that folder to your storage once created.
  3. There is no longer a maximum file size for Rise Storage.
  4. Administrator, Content Publisher, and Content Editor can all create storage and modify it's contents.

Thanks for very precise answer.
I've a set of questions I would like to check with you in order to prepare our roll-out of Risevision in ou Company with many clients worldwide. In the next weeks, I will initiate a custom Webinar session to review all of them.
