Question about duration of presentations in schedules

Can someone help me with the following - let's say I have 2 presentations, A and B. In presentation A I have some images. I've set each image's duration to 10 seconds. On a few of the images, I only want them to show up on certain displays and/or during certain times of the day. Easy enough, I just set these settings for each image in question.

In presentation B, I have another set of images.

Now, let's say I want to distribute these presentations to my displays. I create a schedule and add each presentation. The problem is, I don't know how long to set the duration for. What I want to happen is, I want all the images in presentation A to be shown (assuming it's the right time of day and they are on the correct display) and then go to presentation B. Once that is done, go back to presentation A.

So basically, I want the presentation to play until done. Is this possible? It looks like I have to set a duration in seconds, but I don't know how long each presentation would actually take to go to finish because some images are set to display only during certain times of the day.

I hope this explanation makes sense. Is it possible to do what I want? Thanks!

HarvestCFL, you are in luck :)

We recently released presentation Play Until Done on our Schedules application. You can access it at schedules.risevision.com

Nice!! I think this is exactly what I need. I'm confused though, if I go to apps.risevision.com the menu at the top for Presentations, Schedules, Displays, etc takes me to a different looking UI than the same menu bar when I logged in. Am I missing something?

Oh, it seems there are two different versions of the editor? The old one at rva.risevision.com? I'm not sure what I did to my presentations to make them open in the classic editor. Is there something I should change? Will the classic editor go away soon?

There are no plans to get rid of the Classic Editor at this time, and we will be sure to make a formal announcement in the forum when that time comes.

Thanks!
